For example, let’s say you want to improve attention, memory, and keep your brain from aging quickly in that order. What to look for when doing research.
1. Make sure you read about the mechanism of action. There will probably be things that you don’t understand so don’t be afraid to do extra research. Google a neurotransmitter you haven’t heard of if you have to. Do your best to understand not just what each nootropic does but how it does it.
2. Look at studies related to the nootropic. It is important to note that some studies were conducted on animals while others were conducted on humans. Studies that were conducted on healthy humans are the most reliable while studies on animals, though reliable, are not as conclusive.
3. Find testimonials on this site or through google. See what people have so say about the nootropic on forums. Hearing about other peoples’ experiences is a great way to gauge how useful a particular nootropic may be.

Your goal when selecting nootropics for your regimen should be to maximize the potential benefits of all the smart drugs you plan to take.
